Subaru of America Technical Training Day

On Thursday, September 28, we had a Technical Training Day brought to us by Subaru of America and two representatives from their local technical training center, Mr. John Tabat and Mr. Scott Ellis.

They brought with them a 2023 Subaru Solterra EV and a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. Their training session consisted of the function, operation and demonstration of the ADAS systems these vehicles now come standard equipped with. These systems require high tech calibration when repairs or failures in these systems occur and are in place to prevent collisions from occurring.  

Students had an opportunity to take part in the calibration of the ADAS cameras for a first-hand look at this high tech process. This is yet another training session preparing our students for what is required in industry as an Automotive Technician in todays market.
