Technical Training Day

On Tuesday, September 12, we had a Technical Training Day at the Lake County Tech Campus in the Automotive Service II Program.  The training day was brought to us by Milwaukee Area Technical College, Kunes Auto Group and Ford Motor Company. Linda Reinke from MATC presented on her Ford Authorized ASSET training program, Jason Gomez and Olivia Hermsen from Ford Motor Company presented on career opportunities through Ford Corporate and Justin Hoffman, Richard Gregory and John O’Brien from Kunes Auto Group presented on career opportunities through Kunes Auto Group. 

Kunes Auto Group brought a 2023 Shelby Raptor Baha that prices at $144,000 and their mobile service unit to give some hands on training to our students relating to bi-directional scan tool communication and at-home vehicle repairs. This was an outstanding opportunity for our students to see firsthand how careers in our industry get started and the possibilities of where their training can take them.
